About Us

XIA Books & Cafe is a creative space curated by the nonprofit organization Asian Economic Development Association (AEDA). AEDA's programs and initiatives include the Little Mekong Cultural District, the Night Market, Small Business Development (YOBIZMO), and Arts & Cultural Placemaking (XIA). 

XIA is part of AEDA's creative placemaking project for the Little Mekong Cultural District. Little Mekong is a business of communities (the majority of whom are Asian & BIPOC) located between Mackubin and Marion on University Avenue in Saint Paul. Through creative placemaking, XIA helps Little Mekong cultivate arts and cultural assets to support economic development and community preservation.
